I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Insight Global
Interview
The recruiter reached out to me originally. We talked on the phone, and the recruiter asked that I come into the office to have a formal interview with her. She really wanted me to come in that week, even though it didn't work well with my schedule. I had to really scramble to make it, and when I get there it turns out the recruiter is too busy to meet me, even though this was the time and date that would be best for her. They sent in someone who works there to entertain me for a while, and after 20 minutes, the recruiter still was too busy apparently. They had me leave. Never saw her, never heard from her again. Please pay me for wasting my time and gas. If a company can't get an interview process right, imagine what else they can't do properly. I don't understand how this company is successful considering the type of people they hire.
A long dragged out process consisting of 3-5 interviews.
The last 2 interviews are "happy hour" interviews to see how well you lead conversation. The job title is somewhat misleading as you later find out the company is built off of expensing clients and hoping they hire you to recruit for them. The role of account manager has no business technical requirements whatsoever.
no references are necessary, and the resume might as well have been blank as you are never referenced on prior professional business skill or expertise. As a new graduate who is not sure what to do, this may be a good fit.
But as a new graduate who has a business degree working towards a professional established career, this may not be the best start.
To be completely honest, judging from the amount of positive comments and repetitive no complaints in the con section of reviews for this company, it leads me to think the employees are instructed to write these reviews to keep their reputation afloat… just my observation.
Cheers.
