ICON Study Start Up Associate interview questions

I had a very disappointing experience with ICON’s interview process for a Study Startup Associate position. It started off well with a screening call that went smoothly, and I was invited for a second interview. In total, there were supposed to be three interview rounds. The HR team was initially very friendly and supportive, and the first two interviews went well. However, during the second interview, the person interviewing me couldn’t provide any details about the position itself, as they were completely unaware of the role’s responsibilities. This was already a red flag, but I remained patient and professional. After the second interview, I was told to contact HR regarding the next steps. I followed up multiple times over the next four weeks, yet I was completely ignored and ghosted—no response whatsoever. The lack of professionalism is extremely frustrating, especially since I had to take time out of my vacation to accommodate the interview. The least they could have done was send a rejection email or provide an update. Ghosting candidates after multiple interview rounds, especially when they invest their time and effort, is highly unprofessional and disrespectful. I would not recommend applying here unless you’re prepared to be left in the dark.
