Home Depot Canada interview questions

I had applied online on a Tuesday very early morning. That afternoon, I received an email requesting to schedule a telephone interview. I choose the next opening which was 2 days away on a Thursday at 9:30am. The interview was very friendly. I had done my research on the company prior, so we talked about the company's work supporting the community. Then we talked about one my most difficult situations from one of my previous job, and how I handled it; and how management in that company helped me deal with it. The interviewer told me that Home Depot also has their own system in place to deal when an employee's life is being threatened with a gun. The Home Depot store I was applying for is over an hour commute for me, so the interviewer offered to forward my application to closer stores, but the positions on those closer stores was only part-time, so I asked to have my application forwarded to the original place I applied to even though it is over an hour of commute. At the end of the Phone interview, the interviewer told me my application will be forwarded to the specific Home Depot store's manager for another job interview in which my references will be checked. I was told I would hear in a week.
