First round was by a couple of Unity devs. They fired a long list of one line questions like what is monobehaviour lifecyle, optmisations, solid principles this that. Standard interview stuff. Later the lead who is not from a tech background walked through her unit. Said that Hexagon and her unit are two different things. General hexagon culture, policies will not apply. That round got cleared. Next they gave a unity test in which a character has to run around on a scene and pick up jewels and avoid obstacles. The objects should be generated randomly. They will give no assets to use. You will need to download everything. They expect everything to be done in 1 day and want to see code quality. Looks like they don't know what they want. I delivered a nice looking test with high decoupling but the junior devs could not understand. They are very confused and don't know what they want. The HR, a guy from south, was also very rude and did not share any feedback. Don't waste time on the test if they ask. Just say you don't have time. If they really like your profile they will take.
