I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Hertz (Phila, PA) in Feb 2014
Interview
Received a call from the regional recruiter after I applied online. Scheduled my interview for the next day. The interview was easy as well as the questions, basically it was just like having a casual conversation. Received a call the next day from the regional recruiter with a offer, I accepted.
I applied in-person. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Hertz (Hollywood, CA) in Jun 2012
Interview
Met at a job fair at CSUN and was called back. Igor was awesome. All the other employees at the job were energetic and friendly. The interview went smoothly as Igor was more about trying to see if I'm right for the position than trying to intimidate me.
The interview was for Fire Fly which was recently acquired by Hertz. The interview was in a hotel conference room. About 5 other people were also interviewing candidates. They were looking for individuals to help open a new car rental in the Orlando airport. My interviewer was very kind. They told me that since it was a new position it would take up a month to do the hiring.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
None of his questions were per se difficult. The difficultly came from the fact that he was writing down everything I said (answers to questions, stories, names, etc) because he was not the main hiring agent. That was slightly distracting, but overall fine.
