HelloFresh Junior Business Intelligence Analyst interview questions

I went through 5 rounds of interviews/testing. There was an initial HR phone screen, an Excel take home on retention/acquisition questions, a behavioural and case study interview with 2 more senior analysts, then a final interview with the CMO/MD. After each round, HR tells me that I've received "positive feedback" and then tells me they've gone with another candidate - but says they'd be interested in interviewing me for a product/operations analyst position. I go and the Head of Product asks how independently I can work because I'd be the only person who knows about data in the team, and they talk about looking after interns. I was confused and uncomfortable because I had applied for a junior role. After that they promised to get back to me within two weeks but ghosted me. After going through so many rounds, it left a really really sour taste for them to not even have the decency to reject me.
