Interview
The application process consists of interviews with
Tech recruiter:
leading him through my resume and then we discussed the overall HelloFresh’s team structure and culture
--SQL take-home challenge---
Director Product Analytics:
one SQL task was asked and then we chatted about my previous roles
Director Product:
no technical questions were asked, rather questions about previous experience in stakeholder management were discussed
Teamlead Product Analytics:
one A/B test case study was provided and time for more specific questions from my side about the role was given
In summary, I can only say that this was one of the most pleasant interview processes I’ve ever had.
All interviewers were very friendly, attentive, and very transparent about the next steps.

Interview
I applied for a Senior Product Designer role in Berlin. All the people I interviewed were such good listeners with a very positive attitude. This is so important for candidate experience. If you have the matching skills, if you are well prepared and really willing to get the job, most of the time it goes smoothly but this is not a one-sided story. The interviewers can bring out the best in potential candidates with basic techniques and a little empathy. I think in that sense Hello Fresh is doing a great job. Even though if I wasn't hired, I would have ended the process with a very positive feeling about Hello Fresh. I thank everyone who was involved in my process for their support!

I was given a design challenge regarding one of Hello Fresh's products to see how I approach a design problem and then how I communicate it with the audience.

Interview
First, I had an interview with HR, where I briefly share your experience, motivation an expectations.
Then they send a test to assess the PM skills (design thinking, data analysis, problem framing, etc.)
After submitting the test, I had an interview with the hiring manager where we discuss the case study and technical experience.
Then, there was another interview with the engineer manager of the team I was applying to, where we discuss they how we both work with technical teams and current challenges the team is facing.
The last interview was with the director of the tribe, who focused my experience on vision and strategy, and also shared insights on the company values.
