I applied online. I interviewed at HelloFresh (Berlín) in Oct 2020
Interview
First Round Interview was an HR Screen. The HR person was super helpful and supportive throughout the entire process. General questions about CV and experience / motivation behind job search.
After that was an SQL tech test. The questions were very simple, didn't take too long to complete.
Following the tech test, there was an interview with the team lead. This was a little bit more technical / deeper dive into the CV with a small case study on how to approach certain data problems.
The final round interview consisted of three different separate interviews. Two of the three were with Senior Analysts, one was with the director of product. One of the interviews with the Seniors tested some knowledge on your CV, the other had a short case study regarding web analytics. The interview with the director of product had a few business case questions to assess your critical thinking.
Overall, the interview process was super positive. Very straight-forward. All the assessments seemed like a fair way to judge the candidate's suitability for the role. The HR person I came into contact with was incredibly helpful and super supportive throughout the entire process. Really great interview experience!

Interview
The steps taken to the final offer were pretty straightforward: first, you have the screening interview with the recruiter (you'll send your availability through greenhouse) that will be your point of contact in the company and they will tell you how the process will be:
1. the coding challenge
2. meeting with the team you're applying
3. meeting with the senior manager
for each step, the recruiter will let you know if you got the approval or not. After the last meeting, the recruiter sends from time to time the update on the process to not let you in the dark. My process took around a bit more than two weeks from the first interview to the offer
