Interview
first round with hr, around 35 min, to know about the position and a bit more about my background, i was also allowed to ask questions about the company, nothing special.

Interview
Rather unorganized and lacked structural components. The company lacks a formalized HR presence. On me last interview I was informed I’d been awarded the position and an offer letter would be sent shortly. After a week and a half of follow up with the recruiter I finally received a declension letter. I’m completely accepting of not being awarded the position, but do not tell candidates you’re hiring them, then ghost then for over a week only to finally inform them that you went a different route. Very unprofessional.

Interview
The first part of the process is smooth. Talking to the recruiter was great, she was inviting and very upbeat made for a comfortable phone conversation. After speaking with her she scheduled me for a phone interview with a hiring manager.
The first interview was canceled and had to be rescheduled. I should've taken that as a sign of poor time management, and failure to prioritize on the Ops Manager part. I say that because it was scheduled a week out. Things happen I get it, I have been there. However, after that my energy was off towards the role.
Finally, the following week we got the interview done. Let's talk about the Ops Manager that did the interview. He was busy before the interview...nothing to take away here, again I have been in that spot. I get it. The Google Meet interview was a video interview; his camera was off! Another sign this was not going to work for me. He was very disengaged in my opinion and was very monotone in his questions it made the environment feel really tense to me even over the camera. Like he had no life in him. I get it maybe he was burned out that happens but as people, we have to know when we are at that point. Back-to-back interviews are very exhausting for sure, however, in a people managing field, we have to learn how to adjust, step away, and come back ready to perform. He seemed like it was just too much for him at the moment.
The interview was simple nothing at all hard about it. The questions were simple and straight to the point. The overall interview process is very simple and easy anyone really wanting to work with HelloFresh should ace this with no problem.
Good Luck!!!! :-)
