I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at HelloFresh (Berlín) in Oct 2022
Interview
It was quite fast and smooth. In a week I had already two interviews. First one is video recording and the second one is with Hiring Manager. Video recording was easy and more comfortable than talking with HR personally. It is possible re-record videos if you don't like your answer before submit the video. Each recording should be max 2 minutes. Interview with Hiring manager was 45-50 min. It was very comprehensive interview. My suggestions is don't write anything that you don't know exactly , because this step focuses on every item of the resume one by one. He asked me all details of my tasks and responsibilities from my previous job experience. Also asked me to explain with concrete examples. There was no technical question. For the next step they will send a case study to test the technical skills. So this interview consists of behavioral questions. Prepare some stories which you can tell based on STAR method.

Tell me about a situation where two team members had a conflict , what did you do? What is your contribution to the solution concretely? Tell me a situation where you passed the deadline because a team member did not deliver the task. What did you do? What is your approach when you learn a new thing? Give an example from your study or working life. What is your approach to a problem solution ? What do you do first? How do you prioritize?

I had an initial phone call with the recruiter, the recruiter was not professional at all, she came late to the interview, she was grumpy during the whole interview , that you have the feeling that you are rejected from the beginning, she was asking the questions and interrupting the answers, she was not listening to the answers at all. I met other recruiters in Hellofresh, they were so good and professional . My advise to Hellofresh not to compromise in terms of standards especially with the recruiters who are the image for the company, especially when it comes to leadership roles. You say that you care about the candidate experience, then you need to exert the effort for that. Even a simple question to introduce yourself and your experience is not asked, so she was talking with the candidate and she doesn’t know to whom she is talking to, she sent a rejection email after 2 days and this was expected, without even offering to give a feedback about rejection. My experience was really frustrating. Again Do not compromise in the quality again of your recruiters, I am really shocked.

*Frustrating and unprofessional* I had an initial interview for a Senior Associate role at HelloFresh. The recruiter scheduled our call after work hours (which was not an issue for me.) She called while she was at her apartment… with her friends there with her waiting for her food to get delivered. I know this as she vocalized this to me and they jokingly told her to be quiet because she was being loud. Not only was she distracted, but told me she did not have the actual job I was interviewing in front of her and that she was essentially going to guess… she scoffed me off the phone, I did not get any time to ask any of my questions or feel I was valued at all. She asked me one thing, I answered and she cut me off saying it was good enough. She told me she was going to get back to me the next day with one piece of information I requested. I sent her two follow up emails and still have yet to hear back. It has been over a month. I have never reviewed any interview or job for that matter, but feel I need to as this was a role I was extremely passionate for and the way it turned out was extremely unprofessional and genuinely disappointing.
