Interview
I made it past the phone screen and interview with hiring manager then was supposed to receive a take-home assessment but I was ghosted. About 60% of the phone screen was the recruiter explaining the total compensation which basically boiled down to "We don't pay fair market wages but we make up for it with equity (you just need to work for us for 3 years)". In the interview the hiring manager was aloof and disinterested the entire time. It seemed like he already made his mind up before the meeting which makes me wonder why he felt it was necessary to waste both of our time.

There were a series of phone interviews with different people. Overall they seemed pretty nice and excited about the role and the company, and the questions were not too hard.

Initial email, video call, assessment - online sql test and some analysis piece In the document they say they expect you to spend 6 hours on the work. 6. Lots of data and lots of questions Initial feedback that technical feedback is positive, followed by “level of technical skill is not enough”
