I applied in-person. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at HelloFresh (Newark, NJ) in Nov 2016
Interview
I applied at a Agency, interviewed there and took three test. One to determine my typing speed, one writing sample, and one questions. Then the next week I interviewed with HelloFresh.

Question 1
What would you do if a customer received their box late?
How would you insure that the customer would not receive another late box?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at HelloFresh
Interview
Applied online through the HelloFresh website. Received a call shortly thereafter from a HelloFresh recruiter. I was unable to pick up the phone so she left a message. However, when I called her back, I was unable to reach someone after calling at various times of the day.
When I left a message, I mentioned that email would be an easier way to communicate so that we could set up a time to talk. However, for some reason, the particular recruiter who reached out to me had an aversion to using email at all since she proceeded to keep calling me during work hours. When I would call back, she would not answer.
Eventually, we managed to have a short interview over the phone where she sounded a bit lethargic and unenthusiastic. Perhaps it was an off day. In any case, she seemed to also be in a hurry to move on to other candidates and finished the interview with the standard line about next steps.
I ended up receiving an email from this same recruiter asking me for an in person interview. However, since they were firm about offering only 13 an hour (the lowest pay I had been informed of compared with other similar e-commerce companies), I declined the interview due to a better paying position elsewhere.
