Interview
I had a screening call. That was passed and followed through to an interview with hiring manager.
All in all it was ok, nothing particularly stands out from these calls.
I was given fairly detailed feedback on why I didn't make the cut, but I had to laugh when that feedback mentioned something specific and the next week I saw a Hellofresh ad with that exact thing. For me it was a sign. As a creative, we know inconsistency usually equates to work chaos. So, in the end I was relieved.

What do you like most about our communications from the ones you've seen?
They also asked UNPAID assessment, which is quite dodgy considering the calibre of the company (low).

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at HelloFresh (New York, NY) in Dec 2021
Interview
While there were plenty of rounds, the team is mostly super personable, which made the interview rather stress-free. They ask good questions, so come prepared to discuss your work.
While there will be some focus on showing your appreciation/understanding of the product, they mostly want to test whether you're an effective communicator and whether you'll be able to write and concept sharply.

Initial phone screen, three virtual interviews with team members, a copy (skills) test, and a background check. Never heard from them again. I understand these things happen, but ghosting a final candidate who took the time to complete all of the above is frustrating.
