Long process 3 interviews minimum
Competentcy based interview give lots of examples of previous work experience. Be prepared to work hard to earn promotion and progression. Also some travel to UK involved too
I applied in-person. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at Hays
Interview
Very long process, contacted over 1 month after initial application. Phone interview with an internal recruiter. Questions about previous experience, what I know about Hays, my motivation etc. General HR type screening questions. Friendly and very informative regarding the process.
Next stage was a Skype interview with a manager and senior consultant. Asked again about background and experience, went into more depth regarding previous billings / targets reached. Asked about different scenarios. Interview went well and was offered a face to face interview at the office in Dublin.
Unfortunately the interviewer came across very cold and was very hard to build a rapport with. A lot of focus on billings and targets during the interview, again scenario based questions, what I know about the current state of the job market. Didn’t seem too keen to answer when I asked a few questions about the company / culture within the business.
As an experienced recruiter I was very much put off by this interview and would not have accepted based on this. I was also told it would be an entry level position which is not of interest.

Interview
Telefoninterview danach Bestätigung oder Ablehnung. Einladung an den jeweiligen Standort. ImBewerbungsgespräch wurde sehr genau nach allen Bereichen/ Abteilungen gefragt die es bei Hays gibt. Genauer wurde nach den Arbeitsverträgen gefragt, die man eingehen kann. Also sehr genau darüber informieren! Je nachdem in welchem Feld man arbeiten möchte, wird auch sehr genau gefragt, was dort gefodert wird, was die Abteilung an sich macht, welche Abteilungen es gibt und worunter sie sich zuordnen lässt. Also genau über die Firmenstruktur im klaren sein. In dem Gespräch wird kaum etwas gefragt, was genau Sie ausmacht, das wird im Telefoninterview gefragt. Hier wird nur der Lebenslauf abgefragt, aber nicht wieso sie sich für den job interessieren.
