A mutual friend advertised that Hays US was urgently hiring. I sent a resume to an email address asking for customer service work. The next day, I received a phone call interview, and I was hired at the end of the question session. I was told about my next steps which included the usual: paperwork and a drug test at a local place like the Quest Diagnostics labs in Walmart stores. I was officially working by the following Monday. This was in April 2020, back when COVID-19 actually increased the demand for work in some companies. I am not sure how quick job placement is with Hays US for other roles and other periods of time.
