I applied in-person. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at HSBC (Londres, Inglaterra) in Mar 2020
Interview
Phone interview was easy.
Face-to-face interview was difficult and only interviewed by just one person (usually there's a note taker) it made me feel a bit awkward.
Overall not a positive experience

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at HSBC (Londres, Inglaterra) in Jun 2019
Interview
The first step is signing up to the HSBC online portal and then completing the application online. Some skills and situational awareness tests also needed. After you submit the application then you usually get an email message completing you to complete the online test.
After this if you are successful, then they call you for a phone interview.
After the phone interview I was invited to a face to face interview in branch, they asked standard competency based questions and I was asked to complete two tasks. one was a roleplay exercise, and another was where you were given tasks and you and to arrange them to fit a day.
