HSBC Management Trainee (Commercial Banking) interview questions

Two round of online test, testing your logical thinking and maths. Then a phone interview which takes around 30 minutes. And here are the questions: - Briefly introduce yourself - why commercial banking but not other e.g. investment banking - why hsbc not other banks - can you name some HSBC's competitors - do you know whats happening at HSBC now? any news you know? - tell me what you know about our trainee programme - what do you see yourself in 5 years? - what do you see yourself in 10 years? - then interviwer will ask you to give examples of specific situation and outcome (e.g. give an example of how you deal with different opinions with your boss and what was the result)
