I was invited to an initial “interview” which ended up being more of an orientation about the company itself. The HR rep bragged about how many people they had fired in their attempt to clean up their management structure. I was not allowed to tell them about myself. This was a red flag in itself. I wasn’t asked any questions about my qualifications. Toward the end of the “presentation” I was given a little quiz about filing skills, math, etc. it was probably the oddest interviewing experience I’ve ever had. I never heard back from them. I have 25 years of AP experience and live less than 10 minutes away from their facility and they never called me again. I’m thinking they are seeking younger inexperienced people who don’t have experience to compare their management styles to.
