I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Google (New York, NY) in Dec 2020
Interview
I was referred by a friend for a contract UX Researcher position. I had a phone interview with a UX Researcher and was asked mainly about my research experience and what methodologies I used. I was also given a scenario and asked how I would use research to solve the problem. The next step was a 45 min presentation about my previous research projects, followed by a Q&A session by 3 UX Researchers. Overall, I had a great interview experience. Everyone was professional, friendly, and communicative.
