I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Google in Mar 2020
Interview
30 minute screening call explaining the role with one of Google's recruitment Team. Went well and we discussed meeting Team members for next stage. Received an email 2 weeks later to say role was being filled internally.
Very difficult, lengthy process of attending prep sessions and preparing running up to the interview. Take your time to prepare and don't try to rush it because it really is a difficult process to manage. Try most of all to just be sincere and someone who can self reflect.

I can't remember, it was a problem solving question
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Google in Feb 2021
Interview
An HR recruiter reached out to me over email. I had been invited to apply for a role by a Googler, which is really the best way to get noticed. This interview was fairly standard. I then had a behavioral interview, and then a product case interview. I declined to proceed in the process after I got an offer elsewhere. It was a very lengthy process to progress from one phase of the interview process to the next one.

Question 1
The case interview was about designing a feature on Google Maps. The process I would use to design, test, and measure the efficacy of the feature. It was a fairly standard case interview question. I did NOT get asked how many golf balls would fit in a school bus.
