How do you feel about answering phones once a month?
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Goodwill (New York, NY) in Dec 2014
Interview
You go in, ask for an application till it out and they will call you back if interested. If you do get a call back, the leads will interview you at first, then the manager will.
Preliminary phone interview. Very pleasant recruiter, but obviously knew they were in a bad position because the first question asked had to do with salary. This was before there were any details about the position given. Learning more about the position only made the eventual salary range quoted that much less appealing. Imagine paying an ecommerce manager position with 15+ direct reports $30-$40K/year! No thank you. I knew that Goodwill had a reputation for underpaying, but I was shocked at how low they went on an essential position like this.
