Apply online then if u get through it’s an online video presentation. Then if you pass this its:
Stage 1 - networking event. Get given business cards, have to hand them out to traders/HR. Don’t ask overly technical questions as will annoy traders, keep it simple. Also give a card to HR as no one speaks to them. Aim for 4-5 cards. I passed this stage.
Stage 2 - interview with smart global team with 2 people. This interview is like a test, they just want you to get all there questions right. Glencore don’t even interview you until final round.
I got ignored after this round. Which I thought was extremely rude of them. They never even told me if rejected or feedback.
The whole process is extremely long. My friend got to next stage which is an assesment centre with trading games and negotiation exercise. Then after this stage it’s 6 interviews with glencore in final round.
The companies interview process is extremely inefficient and I thought it was extremely rude to fully ignore me after interview. Especially after spending £100 on trains to go down london and wasting time on all other stages..
Overall joke of a process.
