I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Glassdoor in Feb 2021
Interview
Zoom interview. They seemed uninterested and distracted the entire time, constantly looking off screen, answering his phone, putting his head down and playing with his hair, etc. Very disorienting and discouraging environment for a candidate.
Additionally, the responsibilities for the role were not at all aligned with the job description. Specifically, the tech stack described in the JD were not at all the tools that would be utilized in this role. Seems like they just used a generic template but did not customize or tweak to actually fit the role.
Asked some generic questions, but again, seemed disinterested in my answers and provided no follow up. I walked away from the call completely uninterested in working for the company, specifically for that team.

Recruiter Screening
The interview process was great. Recruiter was very pleasant, explained everything thoroughly, I really didn't have to ask many questions as they were answered throughout the call.
Hiring Manager Interview:
The hiring manager briefly explained his background and gave me time to explain mine. Asked some very general questions, didn't make it further.
I bombed horribly at this point. Couldn't even answer questions about the back of my hand for some reason. First interview in almost a decade. I thought I was prepared but lesson learned.

Interview
The interview process was great. They get back to me with timely updates. Sometimes if they even had no updates, they would call me or email me before the weekend to just let me know that they are either interviewing or if there are other things they need to sort through.
