I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at General Mills in Oct 2011
Interview
Professional but comfortable. The interviewer was very personable and asked basic behavioral questions. They had a great info session as well and I felt very informed going into the interview.
Do the homework and research the company and you should be fine.

I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at General Mills in Sep 2011
Interview
First Round: Two 45 minute interviews. One was very formal, structured, and behavioral question based. Interviewer referenced a guide with questions and took notes. The other interview was informal, comfortable, and more of a get-to-know-you feel. This interviewer only used my resume to make notes on, no formal guide.
Second Round: The night before was a dinner to meet a current employee, ask questions, learn a little bit about the second round interviewers, and hear what the day for second round interviews would entail. The day of the interviews began with a breakfast followed by assessments (Wonderlic and situation-based assessment). There were four 45 minute interviews separated by a break and lunch. The interviews varied by interviewer, but were composed primarily of behavioral-based questions and guided by a formal document listing interview questions.
