I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Gap in Jul 2009
Interview
I stopped into a local store and asked for an application. When I turned it back in, I asked if there was a manager I could speak to. We chatted a bit about what I was looking for and eventually set up an interview. It was one-on-one and very relaxed. He asked typical questions like why GAP, what do I know about the brand, etc.

Question 1
Unexpected question: they asked from multiple choices what was priority in certain situations....if you don't have a bit of customer satisfaction experience this might be a bit hard to resolve.
one interview with an assistant manager the a 2nd with the store manager. Both were really easy and both managers did not seem prepared for the interview. Really Basic stuff
