I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Gap (Brooklyn, NY) in Jan 2012
Interview
The interview process wasn't that bad. I interviewed for a position at the Gap in Brooklyn. It was a breeze. And I was able to get hired on the spot due to the amount of prep that I had and being that a friend of mines also had an interview prior and relayed the questions that they would ask to me. They turned out to be the same exact questions which I was glad about.
There was a tedious online application and test like thing. They called me a few days after I sent it in and set up a time for me to come in to interview. The interview was just me and a manager standing in the corner of the store chatting.. very casual! Asked me questions about school and more specific questions like how I would make a connection with a customer

Question 1
I was asked how I would define Gaps style, I just said simple and classic!
I applied in-person. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Gap (Mississauga, ON) in May 2013
Interview
Was told to come to a group interview right after dropping by the local gap requesting for job opportunity. There were two other candidates at the interview. The manager was chill and friendly. She asked us to basically go around answer the questions. She didn't ask anything out of the blue. There were questions you can relate to either previous jobs or school such as why do you want to work in gap and how did you resolve this issue under this circumstances. How do you deal with pressure or prioritizing. Also, she was very keen on customer service. She expect you to be a people person.

Question 1
All I could suggest really is just to show your most energetic side and always have the smile on when you are answering her questions. Well of course the eye contact is essential as well.
