The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Gap in Jun 2011
Interview
The interview process was not extremely hard. I was interviewed by the store manager and was asked questions that you expect to be asked during interview for a sales associate position in a retail store. She started off by asking me to tell a little bit about myself, then I was asked to give a definition of an outstanding customer service, to talk about my previous experiences.
The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Gap in Aug 2010
Interview
Interviewing was simply professional and comfortable with a friendly manager. Applications were online and once my information was printed out we sat down for an interview in the back room. Questions were simple and mainly focused on flexibility of my schedule. Most sales associate interviews will focus on availability of potential employees and that will determine hireability.

Question 1
How would you outfit a customer in the current collection?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Gap (Charlotte, NC) in May 2011
Interview
The Customer Experience Manager called me a couple of weeks after I applied online to come in for a group interview the next morning. She and the Store Manager conducted the interview with five of us in a storage room in the back of the store. They told us from the beginning that the interview was casual and informal, mostly just to get to know us. It felt more like a conversation than an interview. Everyone in the store seemed really relaxed and happy. I felt pretty good about the interview, even though I have limited retail experience. The managers really seemed interested in us and mainly asked questions about our personalities, style of work, and interests.
