I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Gallagher (Montreal, QC) in May 2022
Interview
Interview was very straightforward, and honestly, I like that.
Companies don't need 7 rounds of interviews, it is not efficient. 1-2 interviews is more than enough.
1 call with Recruiter (aspirations, going through the CV)
1 call with Director (technical questions, day-to-day)
1 week wait, offer is out

The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Gallagher
Interview
In my opinion the interview process was longer than it is for other organizations, went through zoom and phone call with multiple people in the span of a month and a half to two months. Although the process was positive, I had a negative experience with the organization. The role that I was initially interviewed for The manager did not think that I was the best fit for, but they had another role that they would like me to look into but I did not receive much guidance on at first. All in all they did not receive the funding and I wasted a month and a half interviewing with them. Obviously unfortunate, but I felt like my hopes were lifted for no reason then.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Gallagher
Interview
Zoom interview process. Fairly straightforward. Nothing too in depth regarding industry knowledge. More about seeing if you are a halfway decent person rather than know a lot about insurance. Overall a good experience
