I had two phone screens and then an extremely long in-person interview. My first phone screen was with a recruiter who was very condescending and turned me off from wanting to continue interviewing with the company. The second phone screen was a lot better, speaking with the direct hiring manager, she was much nicer. I went in for a 2 hour interview, which ultimately was 2 hour and 45 minutes, meeting with 7 different employees, a handful over video. For every question I asked, the only responses I would hear were something along the lines of "we're really not sure, there's a lot of changes happening, we don't know where the company will be in a year from now, a lot of leadership changes happening right now." It was very evident that their organization is currently in a very messy state. It was not appealing to hear how unknown the future was, and that nothing was very established. No one had answers about growth opportunities or anything related to what the future of the company could be.
