HR phone screen, with business rounds to follow. Unfortunately HR torpedoed their "process" from the first round. I was first contacted for an HR screening call. Standard stuff until they outlined the unhinged logistics. For a 15 min call they required 2 full weeks of availability, and yet are so incompetent that they hedge they need up to a 10 minute grace period "as call prior some times run over." So 50 percent of the call time, as their grace period. The day of my scheduled call arrives. At nine (of ten!) minutes late the interviewer states they have a conflict and can we reschedule for late in the day or the next day; she didn't even bother to check my remaining submitted availability to find a time that would work best given the inconvenience, and moreover the excessive rudeness and disregard for my time. If you are canceling an external interview, you communicate that within 5 minutes of the call start at the latest (ideally you would inform with notice), not right on the cusp of your mandated grace period expiration. Figure out how to take scheduled calls on time. Literally everyone could do so on Zoom for 3 years, this was unprofessional, rude, and nearly just unbelievable. "
