I applied online. I interviewed at GLG (Hong Kong) in Feb 2017
Interview
I applied online and then got the interview invitation after three days. Then the HR from Hong Kong office called me and had the interview with me. However, I am not ready to find a job in this field, so we just had a good conversation.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at GLG (Londres, Inglaterra) in Mar 2017
Interview
I applied through my university's career hub. I was contacted a couple days after and we arranged a phone call. The phone call was pleasant and straight-forward. She asked me about my CV and past experiences. But she started the conversation by asking me: what does GLG do? You need to know this.
I was invited to a face-to-face interview in London. It's a 3 part interview with 3 different people. First one is simple, asks you about why you want to join GLG and what is their business model. The second one is based on role-play. You will need to pretend to call a potential expert and convince them to join GLG. The third one is a case study to understand what experts you would call if a client had a problem.

Interview
Sent CV, phone interview with basic questions about what the role is about.
Met with 3 people in person, 3 separate interviews with two very nice guys, the last man was very rude >.>
They didn't tell me the interviews were going to be in different languages in spite of me asking. So I prepared in English as I was going to work in the UK however, it seemed like they wanted me to be prepared in every language I speak (3 languages) without even telling me about it LOL so weird, so not organised. Anyways, thank God they rejected me because of that.
They pay well but it's basically a call centre role.
My advice to students is: go, it's a good one-to-one interview practice but don't take this job if you are a good finance student. You will be undervalued there, for sure.
I spoke with a guy about derivatives and he had no idea what I was talking about and he "apparently" works in that sector LOL showing that they just find the specialist but have no clue of how to solve the problem. In fact, I did not pass this interview because I was looking for solutions for the problems given whereas they look for different things.
Not enough challenging for me.

Question 1
We spoke about the coffee industry supply chain. We did a mock phone call thing about finding the right expert for the problem and talk about my CV and what I was doing at university.
Just whatever they ask you, don't give complicated, smart answers. Keep it simple.
