GLG interview questions

Multiple rounds with the HR. Followed by interviews with the Business Development team and research team. Not sure what they are looking for but their attitude was quite crisp in a way they only are looking for people who are ready to work all the time. The entire interview process made it seem like there would be no work life balance. After seeing the CV and evaluating all the parameters they end the interview by stating "we're not sure why you would want to be in GLG". It would have saved a lot of time and effort from both the ends of that question was answered right at the start. Plus, after several follow ups they choose not to respond and inform that you have not been selected. Would have appreciated and intimation.
