I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at GLG (New York, NY) in Nov 2018
Interview
Interview process took 3 weeks. Following a short phone screen with the hiring manager, I was invited to have onsite interviews. This is a fairly new department looking for someone to build their strategy. So I was expecting to meet with their senior team. However, I have interviewed with one new grad after another. At a certain point, it felt like the roles were different and I was supposed to hire one of them for an internship. The hiring manager who was supposed to be there connected via Skype wearing pajamas. The whole process felt unprofessional and it was just a waste of time.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at GLG
Interview
Very well organised and thorough. Interviewees were very friendly. The recruiter was very friendly in rearranging an interview when I was unable to attend. They sent a large amount of materials to aid preparation for the interview.
