5 rounds in total. First with an agency recruiter, second with GLG staff which involves a mandatory second language assessment otherwise they wouldn't be interested in hiring you. I spoke to the team leader and a colleague who appreciated my past experiences and skills. Consequently, in the fourth round, you are required to perform a case study for them which takes 1:30h. You are being assured that there is no wrong or right answer but the goal is to establish your reasoning and thinking. After, completing the case study they decided not to move forward with my application because of the lack of quality that went into it.
For the case study, you are allowed 1 hour to provide a list of experts containing names, positions, and company that can answer or advise to the following question - A client (laptop manufacturer) approaches GLG asking them for advice on the current trend in laptop sales.
I executed by researching prominent experts in the industry with 17 names and 2 alternative companies who specialize in market research and included my reasoning for my choices. The interviewer also asks you to rank yourself from 1-10 on your performance.
Even though they assure that there is no right or wrong answer they already have a certain way of doing things and your way of thinking or researching may not be acceptable.
Hope this helps to anyone that is planning to interview or who are in the latter stages of their interview with this company.
Good luck.
I applied online. I interviewed at GLG in Jun 2019
Interview
I went through the video interview with 3 short questions.
Then I was asked to go through a telephone interview. They will send you multiple documents for you to prepare. You literally have to read it through cause they basically ask (or actually test) you about your knowledge about their company. All the answer can be found on those documents. It's more a like a reading comprehension test. I felt like a quiz on my knowledge of their company. After testing me the understanding of the company and the role, it came to skills and CV review.
The interviewer was not responsive and interactive in the review. I felt like she was just rushing through all those questions she got and needed to ask. There was no follow-up question on any of my answer. The interview experience for me is bad. I went through quite a number of interviews here in London. That was the worst interview experience that I had.

Question 1
very specific questions to test your knowledge about the company and the role.
simple and basic CV review.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at GLG (New York, NY) in Jan 2019
Interview
Worst interview process ever. Recruiter contacted me via LinkedIn. GLG did the phone call, case study, in person interview with 3 people then a final phone call with someone VP. Then I get an automatic rejection email saying they have no feedback for me. How can you waste someone’s time like that? Disrespectful company.
