GLG Business Development Manager interview questions

Phone interview and then was called in for a face to face in the London office. I met with 4 people - hiring manager, vice president and two members from the LifeScience team. Everything went really well they told me they were interviewing more people the week after but the very next day received a call from the recruiter to say they were going in a different direction. They refused to give any feedback regarding my interview which is very odd as most companies are happy to let you know why they didn't hire you and where you can improve. Very strange as they are meant to be all about sharing knowledge yet they can't even give any constructive feedback to their candidates!
