I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at GE (Amersham, England)
Interview
Chaotic, though this is partly related to the way the agency handled the process. Since becoming an employee I have had to carry out interviews myself, there is no set interview format and the questions depend on the interviewer. Fit is hugely important so I tend to ask questions that would give me a glimpse of their personality and only one technical question.
the interview was conducted with HireVue. There was a warm up question that was not evaluated just to get you started (the question was where would you like to travel if money was not an issue). There there were only 4 questions and in the end you just completed some electronic forms. Really easy and next stage was final interviews.

Question 1
Tell us something interesting you read about GE?
Tell us a difficult situation you faced at work?
Tell us of a time you had a disagreement and how you resolved it?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at GE in Dec 2016
Interview
Had to do online tests, got invited for a video interview then face to face interview. Took about a month for the whole process to be complete. Interviewers were so lovely, made it feel like a nice chat. Started the interview by saying "talk me through your CV."
