I met GE Aviation recruiters at a job fair in my school, and was contacted by email for an interview. It was a behaviorial interview, which I was not prepared for at all. I ended up stuttering a lot and telling mediocre stories. Just practice your STAR method and you'll be fine.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about a time when you took a risk, and what was the outcome?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at GE Aerospace (Querétaro, Querétaro) in Dec 2013
Interview
Pretty fast. The people of GE were kind and the process ran smoothly. The questions were more regarding embedded systems and operative systems, so you should study the basics; i.e. what is an embedded system, pointers, binary operators etc. All the process was online since I am living in another country. They were offering 26,000 gross salary with a lot of benefits. Nice, really nce.
First Phone screening
Second Group Panel Interview
Third Background check
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at GE Aerospace (Cincinnati, OH)
Interview
No technical questions. They tried to figure out if I was a fit for the position based on past employment history. Standard questions otherwise like How did you approach a difficult situation in your past job, What do you like/dislike about your past job, Why do you want to work for GE. It's important to show enthusiasm.
