I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at GE Aerospace (Grand Rapids, MI) in Feb 2014
Interview
Applied online and received a phone interview a week later. The phone interview was with two managers and an engineer. Mostly behavior questions with a few very basic technical questions. Two weeks later I went for an on site interview which consisted of 6 interviews and a tour of the site. Received an offer 10 business days later. Both interviews had a lot of leadership and situational questions. There was on technical interview during the on site which mostly went back over the phone interview questions.

I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at GE Aerospace (Ellisville, MS) in Mar 2014
Interview
I was given clear directions to the facility in a previous email. Upon entering the facility I was promptly (and politely) greeted by security. I arrived about 20 minutes early, so I sat and waited a bit. The waiting area was very nice. My interviewer took me back roughly 5 minutes after our scheduled time (they were conducting several interviews so it was quite understandable). The actual interview was given by two employees. They were both extremely nice and very professional. The entire interview took roughly 30 minutes,

Question 1
The main question that threw me off was something like "Name a time when you were unable to complete a task and how you handled the situation."
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at GE Aerospace (Cincinnati, OH) in Oct 2011
Interview
Rotate between 4 interviewers over the course of a couple hours. They all ask you more or less the exact same questions. Very generic corporate-style questions i.e "what is the hardest thing you have ever accomplished".. Nothing very technical, but some of these questions are hard to find an answer for on the spot (because they are so stupid), so if you haven't prepared correctly you may struggle.

Question 1
Just stupid questions likes "what are you most proud of?" and the like.
