I applied through college or university. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at GE Aerospace in Oct 2017
Interview
Talked with recruiter at university career fair. Interviewed the next day. Questions were all standard behavioral. Interviewer was friendly and helpful in clarifying questions. Ended up getting an offer but declined due to changing career plans. Overall a good experience.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at GE Aerospace (Estambul) in Sep 2013
Interview
First, I had a phone interview followed by a hiring manager interview 2 weeks apart. After that, I had another interview with subsection manager from the United States over the phone in the company office with hiring manager.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
In the Phone interview with HR, they just asked generic questions such as "tell me about your past experience", "why do you think your experience is relevant to what we are looking here" etc. In the hiring manager interview, they gave me a sheet of paper with a simplified bearing model on it and asked what type of stress components would I expect to see under different loading conditions and why.
I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at GE Aerospace (Cincinnati, OH) in Oct 2015
Interview
The interview process was great. The questions were behavioral based. The Human resources team did a good job in letting you know the next step in the hiring process. Also, for the women engineering intern students they have a leadership program called Diversity Summit Program. Be prepared to give work experience and or times when you worked in a group.
