Interview

The first step is a phone screen first by HR rep. Then, a phone interview with Executive Engineering Manager of Coatings Technologies which lasted about 25 minutes. He described his background and then asked about my background. Completely open-ended since he already had another candidate in mind.

The Engineering Manager asked me what my experience and background were in EBC formulation since GE is having troubles with CMAS formation on their SiC/SiC CMC components on the flying testbed.

Classical cv/cover letter online application, followed by video interview and final assessment center in Cheltenham. Assessment center steps : personal presentation in front of assessors, then 5 interviews of 30min each (leadership, technical skills, team work...) and a final group exercise.
