I had a phone screening interview with an HR rep in December; there were some finance related questions, but mostly related to my resume. In January, I was contacted to set up another interview and to send in a writing sample. I had a WebEx interview with three directors of the group I was applying for.

Question 1
Give us your elevator pitch (what are three things someone should know about you).
I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Fitch Ratings (Londres, Inglaterra) in May 2015
Interview
The entire process was quite messy and I have yet to this day (2 years later) gotten any feedback or decision from Fitch Ratings after several e-mails and calls, despite the fact that I flew over from a different country to present a Case and conduct interviews with a Director and two senior associates.
The process consisted of:
- Online Numerical & Logical Reasoning Test
- Telephone Interview with Director
- Case to present a credit rating assignment based on their methodology
- Group panel Interview
- Memo writing exercise
Everyone at Fitch were very friendly, however not getting a decision from them feels highly unprofessional after going through all those steps. At that point, I would expect a decision and if rejected some feedback. If anyone from Fitch happens to read this I would still be interested in that feedback,
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Fitch Ratings (Londres, Inglaterra) in Sep 2017
Interview
The interview process was a COMPLETE MESS from the beginning. I applied for one role and a few days later I received a response that I had been successful chosen to move on to a phone interview for a DIFFERENT role. They were not even sure what I had applied for. The person organising the interview was extremely slow at setting up a date and in turn more than once started an email with a date and failed (forgot) to confirm. The phone interview happened and after I received no email for many weeks. Several weeks later I emailed the person organising the interviews for more information and he told me that I had passed to a final stage interview. I had to email them to find out my application was successful. For weeks the final interview is not scheduled and I assumed that they lost interest in my application. Again I email them for information and the person apologises and says that yes I am still considered. Many weeks of slow emails, non-confirmed dates and hiccups, finally a final interview is scheduled. I am sent some material and am told I need to create a PRESENTATION for the interview panel. The day I arrive to the building for the interview the receptionist asks for my name and says they have me under a DIFFERENT name. Another mistake on the recruiters part. Finally, I come to the interview having created a power point presentation and I see no projector, no computer, just a table with chairs. I later found out that the interview panel was expecting a CASE STUDY in written form of sorts. Due to this my interview, right from the start, was shaky and hard to put together. I am told I will receive a response a few days later and I receive absolutely nothing. To put the cherry on top, after 2 weeks of no response, I email the person who organised my interview for any information and I receive an automatic email response that this person NO LONGER works at Fitch. I am told to email someone else for information and this person never responded to any of my emails. The whole process was a complete mess and on top of everything they didn't even have the decency to email me any information. Truly disappointing for such a global and reputable firm.
