It is misleading to say I had an interview because it felt like an appointment. I had to complete multiple tests and paperwork. There were four computer tests: word; excel, data entry, and typing. Only the typing test was timed. The arduous part about the typing test was that some of the letters on the keyboard were faded, so that naturally hurt the results of my typing test. Still, I believe I passed all of the tests. There was also some additional rudimentary arithmetic, alphabetizing, problem solving, and word problems on paper. A calculator was provided, so the majority of the tests were straightforward. After I completed all the tests, I was given a booklet and then told to check in once a week to see about any vacancies. It has been over one month, but they still have not found anything for me. I am unsure if my staffing consultant or any of the staffing consultants are helping people find employment. I thought I was interviewing for a secretary position because that was the position listed, but I received a booklet saying Welcome to Express for an Express Associate position (pays nothing). Why would they advertise a position that never even existed? You are only paid if you are given assignments. But they offered me no assignments, so there is no incentive to being an Express Associate. The entire process was a time consuming four hours of my life that I will never get back. I squandered all that time for nothing.
