I applied online. I interviewed at Experian (París) in Feb 2016
Interview
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Pourquoi vous ? Pourquoi Experian ? Que pensez-vous apporter à la société ? Avez-vous compris notre métier ?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Experian (San Jose, CA) in Mar 2016
Interview
A friend referred me and I got a call from the recruiter. A panel phone screen was organized and it was mostly core Java questions and a brief discussion of the team, work profile and experience. Then I was invited onsite. The interview consisted of 4 rounds, all panel with 2 people in each round. The 2nd and the 3rd rounds were fully technical with whiteboarding and live debugging with the team.
In general I was asked core Java concepts and also to write code based on a problem.
Didn't hear back from the recruiter. Internally, got some feedback from my friend who referred saying, my profile is more suited for a Software Engg role than a Senior role.

Implement a Stack.
Compare two software versions and return 0,-1,1 accordingly.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Experian in Apr 2016
Interview
I was asked to apply for a Fraud Sales role. I have many years of experience in the space with a history of hitting multi-million dollar quotas at a very well known Fortune 25 company, yet I was still required to do a very remedial math and verbal test that you would give to entry level call center worker. Did the process after a phone screen from the "SR HR Recruiter" who seemed to be a bit over her head in terms of understanding the Experian technology and relating the similar concepts from my current role.
Once I completed the tests, she scheduled the phone interview with the hiring manager, only the recruiter messed up the dates! Imagine that! Had to block out some more time (I'm still working,) and proceeded to go through a one hour phone call where I spoke for about 10 minutes. After the call the hiring manager promised to move me through the process with a panel interview. The next morning I was told they had gone with an internal hire by the recruiter.
I've gone through a lot of bad interview processes and have seen worse, but at a company this big, this was such a condescending time suck that I actually complained and told them never to call me again.
