Evonik interview questions

Interviewers asked hypothetical, lab safety questions. Pretty easy to answer—there isn’t a single correct answer I think. They just want to know if you have justification behind your answer. There were no questions about communication, teamwork, or anything related to your past experiences/extracurricular, which was quite surprising compared to other interviewers from different companies.

I submitted an application and was invited to a phone interview. Unfortunately, the recruiter never called at the scheduled time. I followed up via email to see if we could reschedule, but I never received a response. Weeks later, I received a generic email stating they had selected another candidate. The lack of communication and follow-through was disappointing and felt unprofessional.
