I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Emma (Lisboa, Lisboa) in Apr 2024
Interview
The process started with a first email requesting to perform a 12 minute cognitive assessment. I personally don't feel like this test is empathetic or fair to the candidate's full skills, but it's the one Emma decided to use to filter candidates.
After doing it I was invited to a first 30 minutes interview with a recruiter. The recruiter was nice and enthusiastic, however the whole interview felt rushed, with nearly no time for my questions. One thing I felt very uncomfortable with was the fact that the recruiter asked me to give 3 ideas to improve customer retention in less than 5 minutes (I do not expect this from a non technical person, neither in a screening interview).
After a week I got an email saying that the position I was applying for had been closed, since an internal solution had been found.
I find it really questionable and deceitful to waste one's time, requesting for free ideas in a first interview and then ending up deciding to go with an internal resource. Emma, don't open vacancies if you're not committed to hire someone.

The HR was rude, the company forgot perhaps that the candidates also evaluate the company. Question weren't relevant, weird mathematic test and the culture / value feat wasn't there for me. I decided to not move forward with the process
