I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Eli Lilly and Company in Oct 2018
Interview
After speaking with a recruiter once, I was moved to an on-site interview that was panel style with 2 interviewers. The recruiter was extremely helpful and respectful throughout the entire process. The interviewers on the other hand seemed like they were on a power trip to be interviewing. They were extremely condescending and mentioned multiple times how my experince didn’t align. Had they not seen my resume until that point? What a waste of everyone’s time. Every answer I gave and even my intro about myself, they cut me off on.
This was my second time interviewing with Eli Lilly. The first time in process, I had nothing but positive things to say about the interviewers. This time, I was happy I did not receive an offer as I would not have worked under such disrespectful people. Whats ironic is that they emphasized “respect for all people” as something they like about Eli Lilly, yet they had absolutely none.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Eli Lilly and Company (Bloomington, IN) in Oct 2018
Interview
They contacted me for an on-campus interview. When I walked in there were two people sitting at a table with their laptops. Most of the questions they asked me revolved around past experience and giving examples.

Question 1
Describe a time in which you did not know what to do and how you solved the situation. (Paraphrased)
I applied online. I interviewed at Eli Lilly and Company (Cork) in Mar 2018
Interview
I applied online for the role and received an email within a few days to setup a phone screening with an internal recruiter for the company. The phone conversation was informal, we discussed the role being offered and I was asked about my experience and my availability for the role. I thought it had gone well and was told I would hear back soon about having an in-person interview. However, I never heard back from the company and it's been 7 months! I followed up with emails and never received any response.
I believe the role was for an entirely new team that was being set up in Cork so I was expecting the process to take a bit longer but I at least expect a response after an interview. It is very unprofessional to not receive feedback or any contact after an interview, especially after I followed up. I would be very hesitant to apply for Eli Lilly in the future.
