I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Eaton (Kearney, NE) in Oct 2013
Interview
I applied through online and I was called for a phone screeing in a couple of weeks. The phone interview was cool asked about resume details and told about the position requirements. After one week I was asked to shcedule for the 2nd phone interview with the hiring manager(assistant Quality manager) and HR manager. The second interview was more of technical questions and HR related questions. The following week I was invited for in person interview. The persons from pre scheduled interview plan were changed. They were supposed to take me for the plant tour at first, but due to the inavailability of safety shoes for my size, I was taken after the interviews. The first round of interview started with two experienced persons(both were quality analysts) and second round with three persons (Assistant Quality manager, engineering manager, & associate engineer). The interview was STAR based and chain of questions. They were very specific in answer. Medium tough.

Interview
I applied on their website and got contacted for a phone interview later that week. The next week, I had an interview at their facility with members of the team, my future manager, and HR. Part of this process was a 20 minute presentation where I covered my educational background, career ambitions, project experiences, etc. This was followed by some technical questions about my project I presented on.
The staff was some of the most friendly I have interviewed with. I felt less like it was an interview and more that they were trying to get to know me and see if I was a good fit for the company. Everyone was extremely helpful and quite excited to answer my questions. Overall, it was one of the more pleasant interviewing experiences I have had.

They were all pretty standard for an embedded software interview. Just questions over C and its uses.
