I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Eaton in Nov 2016
Interview
The interview process was a 2-step process for me where the first interview was the day following an on-campus career fair. It was somewhat informal in that the questions were all behavioral interview questions (describe a time where you...).
After about a week and a half, I was asked to set up a time for a phone interview with my current recruiter. I took a time slot and promptly received a call from my recruiter and began the interview. The entire conversation took about 45 minutes and consisted of more behavioral questions.
I prepped for the interview by filling out the following beforehand:
1. Start with who you are, ex. I am…
2. Your Goal – what do you want to accomplish?
3. Why do you want to work here for this company?
4. My Strengths
5. My Weakness (turn this around into a positive)
6. Example of challenge:
Although I didn't directly use much of what was on my sheet, it was good preparation for the behavioral questions they asked. The day after the interview, my recruiter called me to tell me that I would be receiving an offer, and less than a week later I was emailed my offer. I then had 2 weeks to respond.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Describe a time when you didn't see eye-to-eye with someone and what you did to resolve any issues with that person.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Eaton
Interview
Mostly focused on behavioral questions. Involved a lot of elaborating on resume points and past experiences and involved little technical questioning. The onsite took longer than other interviews I've had, but it also seems to be a much larger company.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Name a time that you had to resolve a conflict with somebody who you didn't agree with or get along with.
I applied through other source. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Eaton (Cleveland, OH) in Jun 2016
Interview
Antagonistic in the way questions are asked. Interviewers did not have a positive optimistic attitude toward the company. Did not leave feeling positive about the experience. Would not interview here again.
