I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Eaton (Pune)
Interview
Students who applied were shortlisted and directly called for interview. The first roud was tech round , then the shortlisted students were called for HR round.
I was first told that i'm shortlisted for HR round, then when I went for the interview, I was told that I haven't qualified for HR round. It was pretty dissapointing.
Suggestions:
Electronics students make sure you know your op-amps and microcontrollers well. They might ask certain part of power electronics in the interview.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Technical round was fairly easy. Questions asked were:
1. Parameters of op-amp (CMRR, PSRR, Gain bandwidth product)
2.Inverting, non-inverting feedback amplifier
3. On what basis do you choose a microcontroller?
Then,we had a brief discussion about my projects and likings. The interview asked some straight-forward questions, follwed by some tricky ones.
Eg: If there is a temperature sensor whose output voltage increases 10mV every division, can we directly connect it to microcontroller analog pin?
4. What are different types of RAM, ROM? In a microcontroller/computer, what parameters are stored in RAM and what parameters go into ROM?
HR Round:
Commonly asked questions like : why eaton? where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Then they asked about future scope of my projects.
