I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Dollar General (Nashville, TN) in May 2012
Interview
Have open availability they like that. And eye contact and a firm handshake. And above all be respectful. They are wanting to know your long term goals as far as where do you see yourself in say 5 years from now in the company.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Dollar General (Valley, AL)
Interview
You have to catch these type of jobs when they need help which is around Holidays or by word of mouth. It depends on the location you are applying for. Apply online and then call the next day or two and ask to speak to the store manager not manager on duty and give the store manager your name and most likely they will pull your application.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Basically they ask you the same questions you filled out on the application like availability. If you attend highschool or college most store locations will work with you around your schedule. The interview is more like a talk, if you have the interview 9/10 you have the job unless you have a bad attitude.
